The night before Osoyoos

'twas the night before half iron
and all through the lake
Tri-Guy was as twitchy
as an addict with shakes.

A swim in the lake
all tranquil and placid
made sure that his core
was ripped... not flaccid.

Out on the bike
he rode with great ease,
in hopes that his average
would read in the thirties.

Next to the run
where he ambled along,
he hummed to his H.R.
an old drinking song.

The day kept him busy;
traveling south for check-in
With family in tow
they left Penticton.

With the Giant asleep
with his other bike toughs
it was time for Tri-Guy
to collect all his stuff.

Now I heard him exclaim
as his eyes met their ends,
"I'll see you all tomorrow
in Osoyoos, my friends."

  1. I continue to be astounded by all your hidden talents, Tri Dude.

In the meantime: 100 bottles of beer on the wall, 100 bottles of beer..... none for you, till you do Ironman too....

You can be the guy with your face mashed up against the window... staring longingly.. especially if you want to keep that ripped rather than flaccid body .... (sorry, lame ending).

Hope the race went great!! I will be looking forward to the report!
